This full-time temporary position includes teaching grade 6 social studies as well as ELA. The position will begin on August 25, 2026 and end on June 29, 2027. We Are Seeking a Teacher Who builds strong rapport with students and creates a safe and caring learning environment; the ability to work collaboratively as part of an innovative and energetic instructional team creates an engaging learning environment for students through strong planning practices and delivery of effective pedagogy the ability to form positive working relationships with staff, students and parents strong organizational and classroom management skills provides an engaging environment for students from a variety of backgrounds including at risk and educationally disengaged students; has a passion for working with an ethnically diverse group of students, including First Nations Metis and Inuit students; is knowledgeable of and experienced with current assessment practices; has experience teaching the most recent Alberta High School Curriculum. The successful candidate possesses or is eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. F.P.
