In this role, you will: Partner with the OHS team to maintain and continuously improve Lordco's Occupational Health & Safety program. Support and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, provincial, and regulatory health and safety requirements. Regularly visit retail stores and operational sites to engage employees, build positive relationships, and reinforce a proactive health and safety culture Participate in workplace inspections, identify hazards, and recommend practical solutions to reduce risk and prevent injuries. Assist with the administration and maintenance of safety records, including inspections, monthly safety meetings, training, and other compliance documentation. Support the development, coordination, and delivery of health and safety training programs and awareness initiatives. Assist with incident investigations by gathering information, identifying root causes, and supporting the implementation of corrective actions. Collaborate with managers and employees to address safety concerns and improve workplace practices. Lead by example by demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and company values. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned. Do You Fit the Part? We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic safety professional who enjoys working with people and making a positive impact in the workplace. You will be successful in this role if you: Have post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and practical experience. Are passionate about workplace safety and continuous improvement. Can travel throughout British Columbia, including occasional overnight stays. Hold a valid Class 5 or Class 7 driver's licence with a clean driving record. Possess strong interpersonal skills and can positively influence and engage others. Are confident in communicating with employees and leaders through both written and verbal communication. Have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Exercise sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Take a practical, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving while balancing operational needs and safety requirements. Thrive in a dynamic environment and can adapt to changing priorities. Are comfortable working independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative team. Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification or training is an asset. Previous experience in retail, warehousing, transportation, logistics, or a safety-related role is considered an asset.
