If you're a hands-on Java Architect or Lead who enjoys solving complex technical problems, evaluating new technologies, and using AI tools to build better software, we'd like to hear from you. ⏳ We're moving fast. Early applicants will receive priority consideration. 📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – Minimum 3 days/week onsite, Bloor St. E.) 📅 Duration: 6-month contract (extension possible up to 1 year) Open Positions 🔹 3 Senior Java Engineers with a strong Architecture background 🔹 5 Senior Java Engineers with a strong Technical Lead background Required Skills ✔️ 8+ years of hands-on Java backend development ✔️ Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices ✔️ Proven software design, architecture, and end-to-end implementation experience ✔️ Hands-on use of GitHub Copilot and/or Claude as part of the software development lifecycle ✔️ Strong system design, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills ✔️ Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and modern engineering practices Agentic AI Experience Hands-on Agentic AI implementation experience is preferred. However, the client is open to considering strong senior Java engineers who actively use GitHub Copilot/Claude but have limited production-level Agentic AI experience.
