Job summary

Role Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Network Support Engineer Intermediate to provide technical expertise and support in 24x7 infrastructure operations for network technologies The candidate will ensure high availability performance and reliability of network infrastructure while managing incident resolution troubleshooting and maintenance tasks The role requires strong communication skills readiness to work in rotational shifts and a proactive approach to automation and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Provide 24x7 support for network infrastructure ensuring uptime and performance of critical systems. Configure and maintain network devices including routers switches firewalls and load balancers. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues. Monitor network environments and tune performance for optimal efficiency. Plan and execute patches upgrades and configuration changes following change management protocols. Develop and maintain system documentation network diagrams and standard operating procedures. Drive automation initiatives by creating scripts using Python Ansible or equivalent. Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve issues and implement solutions. Ensure compliance with security policies regulatory standards and audit requirements. Primary Skills Handson experience with network technologies including TCPIP VLANs VPNs and routing protocols BGP OSPF. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices Cisco. Strong knowledge of network monitoring tools and performance tuning. Understanding of ITIL processes for incident problem and change management Scripting skills Python Ansible or equivalent for automation and process optimization. Secondary Skills Knowledge of network security configurations and SSLTLS certificate management Experience with SDWAN cloud networking AWS Azure and hybrid environments Familiarity with ticketing systems ServiceNow Remedy and reporting tools Soft Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and mentor junior staff. Willingness to work in rotational shifts including nights weekends and holidays. Adaptability to changing priorities technologies and business needs. Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Proven hands on experience in automation and process improvement within network environments.
