Chemical Engineer – Process Modeling We are seeking a Chemical Engineer with demonstrated expertise in Aspen Plus to lead chemical process modeling for a state-of-the-art, next-generation industrial facility. This role will be responsible for developing sophisticated process models that support the design, optimization, and scale-up of the facility. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced chemical process modeling using Aspen Plus Develop models for chemical and/or metallurgical processes Build custom physical property datasets and electrolyte models Model processes involving solids in vapor-solid and liquid-solid reaction environments Integrate Aspen Plus models with external tools such as Excel Provide modeling insights that directly inform facility design and process development Requirements B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field Required: Demonstrated hands-on Aspen Plus model development experience Strong background in chemical process simulation and modeling If you think you could be a fit, please reach out to the hiring team directly at dylan.stone@lumicity.io
