Senior Java Developer

Project Description: For the world most global bank we are building the platform, which supports various information gathering and processing across the organization and providing access to this data Responsibilities: Candidate will be responsible for building out the firm's strategic reference data platforms to serve businesses within client company. The successful applicant will take ownership of key projects and components and will be responsible for all phases of SDLC including analysis and design, development, testing and deployment. As a developer, the candidate will be responsible for developing & deploying technical solution following engineering excellence standards. A potential candidate will need to understand system and enterprise architecture concepts and will be expected to understand how all components fir together and impact one another. They will work with a global and diverse team of peers as well as liaise closely with Business Analyst, Production Support, and infrastructure teams. Responsibilities: - Deliver assigned development projects withing agreed schedule, quality and scope expectations - Participate in all stages of SDLC within an agile Scrum environment - Form partnership with technology vendors and gain deep understanding of products - Enhance/Re-architect existing components to satisfy new requirements in terms of performance and scalability - Provide level 3 (escalation) support for the application Mandatory Skills Description: - At least 7+ years of experience with Java - Experience/understanding with the following technologies: - Java (Core, JDBC, MT, Collections, I/O), Spring Boot - SQL.PL-SQL on Oracle DB - Container platform based on Kubernetes - REST web services, Kafka, Redis - Unix Commands and shell scripting. - Familiarity with standard data structures and algorithms. - Experience using the following tools - JIRA, Harness/uDeploy, SonarQube, TeamCity, Artifactory, Git (GHE & Bitbucket) - Logical thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; innovate and solutions oriented - Effective time management skills to manage multiple priorities with flexibility on time zones and timelines - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience Nice-to-Have Skills Description: - Master's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience - Experience working with the Scrum methodology - Experience working with a NoSQL database - Experience designing and implementing microservices - Financial services technology experience preferably in reference data domain - Physical and logical data modeling Languages: English: C1 Advanced

The candidate will lead the development and deployment of strategic reference data platforms, managing all phases of the SDLC within an agile environment. Responsibilities include re-architecting components for scalability and providing level 3 escalation support.

Requires over 7 years of Java experience and proficiency in Spring Boot, Oracle DB, and Kubernetes. A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience is mandatory.
