M’akola Housing Society is the largest Indigenous affordable housing provider in British Columbia serving more than 5,000 family members. M’akola offers a variety of housing to suit the needs of our applicants and tenants. We offer family housing in townhouse complexes, apartment buildings and single family dwellings. M’akola also offers housing geared to singles and couples and has two assisted living facilities for our Elders and seniors. M’akola manages more than 1,600 homes serving both Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. The majority our housing is located off-reserve in urban centres and we have expanded into rural areas and on-reserve through partnerships with First Nations. We provide housing and operate across Vancouver Island and Northwest BC and have nearly 100 full-time employees.

The Property Manager Assistant provides confidential administrative support to the regional office and ensures the smooth flow of daily operations. They are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to tenants and assisting with the process of filling vacant housing units.

The Casual Front Desk Clerk manages the reception area to provide a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and employees. They are responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to support the front desk operations.
