Purpose The Operations Planner will be called upon to work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate smooth operations and analyze data to improve M1 Composites’ processes and meet contractual deadlines. They will prepare various reports for the management committee and maintain real-time performance indicators for employees. The Planner will ensure interdepartmental cohesion and coordinate the timely and cost-effective repair and manufacturing of parts. The planner plays an active role in the continuous improvement of the various production departments. Working in a constantly evolving environment, the Planner is recognized as an agent of change within their team. Main Responsibilities Short- and medium-term operations planning (parts, resources, approvals, etc.), Setting standard times for greater organizational efficiency, Ensure availability of parts and materials with the procurement department, Analyze costs and propose solutions to reduce them, Monitor and analyze hours with a view to measurement and improvement, Implement, measure, monitor and improve performance indicators, Create and present periodic reports for various departments, Coordinate and improve processes. Your Ideal Background Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent, 5-10 years’ experience in aeronautical planning, components and maintenance repair (essential), ERP super user, Quantum an asset, Knowledge of data analysis (power BI or other), Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team, Interest for change and new technologies, Basic knowledge of programing language (an asset), Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure, Good synthesis skills, Knowledge of surface finishing processes (an asset), Bilingual in French and English*, both spoken and written. The position requires excellent written and spoken English skills. The role involves reading and understanding technical documents in English on a daily basis, particularly from international companies, as well as regular communication with clients, suppliers, and other international stakeholders.
