Functional Analyst

Project context: The objective is to demonstrate the ability of distribution tools built on the Genesis platform (EIS) to interact with a large language model (LLM) or agentic AI in a real-world data collection context for generating insurance quotes. The targeted process is auto insurance quotes in Quebec for an Insurance brand. The successful candidate will define, design, and document the specification documents and application requirements. Main Responsibilities: Responsible for defining/writing application requirements in collaboration with business experts (business sectors) Define and document the specifications of the components to be configured/implemented Define and document unit (functional) test cases related to the component specifications Participate in project alignment with the development teams Execute manual unit (functional) tests Contribute to the testing phases Follow up on issues and escalate them to project managers Prepare documentation for assigned projects, analyze system components and change requests Collaborate with various stakeholders (designers, business experts) in the analysis of technological solutions General Profile Sought: Customer-focused Strong interpersonal and writing skills Significant project experience Proficient in new approaches/methodologies (SOA, Agile) Proficient in available tools (JIRA, Enterprise Architect, etc.) Results-oriented Demonstrated leadership and autonomy English proficiency level: Intermediate. The following will be considered an asset: Knowledge of AI concepts and tools Knowledge of Genesis/Amber (EIS software package) Knowledge of DGAG (Auto solutions).

The successful candidate will define, design, and document the specification documents and application requirements for auto insurance quotes. They will also be responsible for executing manual unit tests and collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the project.

Candidates should have significant project experience and be proficient in methodologies such as SOA and Agile. Knowledge of AI concepts and tools, as well as experience with Genesis/Amber software, is considered an asset.
