The client is looking for a Project Manager with 5 to 7 years of experience, part of it demonstrated on AI projects. The type of AI does not matter: generative AI, machine learning or intelligent automation are all acceptable, as long as the person led the project as Project Manager. The client emphasizes a trait beyond the resume: someone who already uses AI in their own practice and actively follows the field. Insurance experience is desired but not eliminatory. AI governance is an asset that will separate comparable candidates. Target candidate: an intermediate-level Project Manager who has already led at least one AI project and uses AI tools in their own work. Insurance exposure and familiarity with AI governance issues move a candidate to the top of the list. AI governance or compliance advisor profile with no project delivery responsibility. Project Manager profile where none of the projects listed include an AI component.
