Job summary

Summary To organize and direct the production team to meet the daily build schedule on a specific product or line. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Drive daily “Stand Up” meetings for line(s), monitor and organize daily build schedule for specific production line or work cell and brief cross functional teams. Train new hires and monitor according to skill set. Cross functional interface with engineering. Ensure effective ECO implementation. Ensure process provides top quality product in accordance with the customer’s specifications. Monitor production-lines to ensure uninterrupted work flow and anticipate potential bottlenecks. Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures. Responsible for the accuracy of work-in-process. Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding work space. Assess and align employee skills to function. Ensure line efficiency and provide records on exceptions. Control, document and process to MRB non-conforming material. Ensure process and quality issues are documented and communicated through the established channels. Identify resource gaps in department and manage strategic counter measures. Coordinate and ensure maintenance schedules are met as required. Assist in trend failure analysis of production failures. Ability to interface with customers when needed. Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business. Optimize labor force with an emphasis on efficiency and reduced OT. Manage, Coach, and develop promising talent on team. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of experience in a high volume manufacturing environment. Knowledge of workmanship standards Experience with AMLs and Part Metering preferred Ability to lead and motivate employees. Background in Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies Direct knowledge of the functional responsibilities and technical skills of employees in group. Good organizational skills. Capable of performing job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids. Basic computer skills. Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
