Overall Job Purpose Accountable for enterprise strategy, standards, and guardrails across security platform and infrastructure engineering, with a direct mandate to mature Threat Intelligence and DevSecOps as day to day operating capabilities. Shapes policy enforcement, resolves systemic constraints across multiple teams, and influences senior stakeholders on investment, resilience, and risk trade-offs, translating enterprise considerations into actionable governance aligned to Technology standards. Key Accountabilities 1. Enterprise Strategy, Standards, and Guardrails Define and evolve enterprise platform and infrastructure standards spanning tooling, pipelines, shared services, automation, resilience, recoverability, and observability, and drive adoption across portfolios. Serve as trusted advisor on the highest-complexity platform, infrastructure, and operational resilience issues across multiple teams. 2. Threat Intelligence Enablement Own the enterprise standards for threat intelligence collection, enrichment, and dissemination so that intel drives compensating control recommendations for operators. Translate threat intelligence into prioritized, evidence-based guardrails and detection requirements across the security ecosystem. 3. DevSecOps and Secure Delivery Sponsor policy-as-code, automation, and knowledge automation practices so security controls are codified, machine-testable, and enforced within pipelines. Define safe automation and CI/CD enablement patterns that embed security guardrails into build, test, deploy, and operate workflows. 4. Systemic Constraint Resolution Resolve systemic platform and infrastructure constraints impacting delivery speed, reliability, security, capacity, stability, or recoverability across multiple teams. 5. Resilience, Incident, and Operational Readiness Drive observability, resilience, and incident learning at enterprise scale, including telemetry, alerting, capacity, and DR readiness, to improve service maturity. 6. Influence, Investment, and Escalation Governance Influence roadmap and investment decisions with evidence-based trade-offs on capability, risk, resilience, cost, and scalability. Determine when initiatives require escalation due to enterprise or regulatory impact and ensure consistent engagement with architecture and risk forums. Partner with senior stakeholders to align priorities and sequencing when constraints materially impact outcomes. 7. AI-Enabled Practices Shape and sponsor AI-enabled platform and infrastructure strategy, including automation, predictive monitoring, and policy-as-code, aligned to security and governance. 8. People and Capability Uplift Mentor senior ICs and strengthen capability uplift through communities of practice and standards forums. 9. Continuous Improvement Identify recurring friction and enable durable fixes across the platform and infrastructure ecosystem. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Technology or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Extensive progressive experience delivering enterprise platform and infrastructure services and enablement. Proven influence on standards, governance alignment, and risk-informed decisions across multiple teams. Demonstrated leadership-by-influence with senior stakeholders and governance forums. Deep expertise in automation, CI/CD enablement, observability, recoverability, and secure operations. Ability to shape AI-enabled strategy and guardrails at scale. Demonstrated depth in Threat Intelligence and DevSecOps as core operating disciplines. The expected annual base salary range for this role is $149,500 - $192,500 which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
