The Land Development Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB, responsible for leading land and site development projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will be skilled in project management, experienced in project proforma’s and cashflow reporting, and successful in building exceptional relationships with contractors, home builders, municipalities, and consultants. The successful candidate will be required to deliver serviced lots to our builder groups on time, under budget and ready for residential home construction. Key Responsibilities Oversee stage by stage development project through cashflow and budgeting, planning approvals, registration, engineering approvals through construction to final acceptance Manage a team of consultants to ensure the timely delivery of right-sized staging and infrastructure to meet builder lot inventory needs Act as the company’s representative at regular project and construction meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that project and builder needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner Develop and maintain a servicing schedule to support residential construction start dates and commitments to home closing dates Assists with the management of records of planning approvals, engineering, landscaping and utility drawings, permits, letters of credits, etc. for projects Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management Monitor and analyze builder sales performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement Skill Requirements and Experience Thorough understanding of land development processes, including municipal planning, lot design, site grading, stormwater management, lot servicing, utilities, and surface construction Minimum 5 years of related land development experience Post-secondary education in Engineering, Civil Technology, or a related discipline Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract Preferred Qualifications Land development experience in the City of Edmonton and/or surrounding municipalities Work knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D Familiarity with City of Edmonton Design and Construction Standards What We Offer Opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects in a fast-paced environment Collaborative team atmosphere that values trust, cooperation, and open communication Commitment to professional development and staying current with technical job skills Emphasis on work-life balance and employee well-being How to Apply If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for land development and a track record of successful project management, we want to hear from you.
