Job summary
We are seeking an Intermediate Risk Management Specialist specializing in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) to support a federal client in Winnipeg on a 5-month contract. The successful candidate will conduct Workplace Hazard Assessments and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) identify workplace hazards, assess risk levels, and recommend appropriate control measures to mitigate risks. Key Responsibilities Conduct workplace hazard assessments and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs). Interview employees and stakeholders to understand job tasks, work environments, and equipment usage. Identify, assess, and classify workplace hazards. Evaluate risk levels using established risk assessment methodologies. Develop and recommend hazard control and risk mitigation measures. Prepare JHA documentation, reports, and safety recommendations. Coordinate assessment activities with client representatives and stakeholders. Qualifications University degree, diploma, or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field. Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation (mandatory). Experience in workplace Hazard Assessment and job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Strong analytical, interviewing, and report-writing skills. Additional Requirements Ability to work on-site in Winnipeg. Eligible to obtain and maintain a Reliability Security Clearance.

Requirements
