Position Overview We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. A Gas Fitter B license or Refrigeration Mechanic (Red Seal) certification is preferred, but we will consider non-certified candidates with strong hands-on experience in heating and air conditioning systems. This is a full-time role primarily serving residential clients (with occasional light commercial work) across the Lower Mainland. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems – Furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues. Perform preventative maintenance to maximize efficiency and system lifespan. Customer service and documentation – Record work performed, parts used, and system conditions; explain issues and solutions clearly to clients. On-call emergency service – Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies, with premium pay. Qualifications and Requirements Certification: Gas Fitter B Ticket or Red Seal Refrigeration Mechanic certification preferred; non-certified candidates with equivalent experience are welcome to apply. Experience: Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC installation, service, and repair. Driver's License: Valid Class 5 with clean abstract (company van provided). Skills: Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service abilities. Work ethic: Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to work overtime/on-call as needed. Compensation & Benefits Hourly Wage: $35 – $55/hour (depending on experience). Overtime at premium rates. Company Vehicle: Service van provided (with fuel card).
