Job summary
The MD is overall responsible for the development, growth and the financial result of the company. The responsibility includes the total business including production, sales, purchasing, technical work, inventory, quality, logistics, HR and finance. The MD is responsible for driving the organization with focus on cost effectiveness, quality, security of supply, alertness and service. The task for the MD is to organize, operate and develop the organization with high level of engagement and ability to deliver trust, honesty and self confidence in both customer and employee relations. The MD has overall legal responsibility for the company and shall ensure that the company’s organization runs effectively, following set authorizations and standards and in line with company core values, code of conduct and applicable instructions and policies. It is vital that the MD is a good collaborator both externally with customers and suppliers and internally within the company. The MD reports to the Global Business Area Manager. Profile · Strong drive to deliver good and sustainable result. · Proven ability to successfully lead a team and genuinely interested in people, business and production. · A modern and confident leader, with ability to deliver trust, honesty and self-confidence towards customer and in employee relations. · Excellent change management skills and ability to motivate people towards continuous improvement. · Ability to set a vision/strategy, identify goals and objectives and drive execution. · Aligned with company Core Values. · Ability to lead a diverse team. Work experience and skills · Solid experience from the manufacturing industry with high performing and demanding customers. · Have led organizations with P&L responsibility · Good understanding of Financial KPIs · Technical skills within the area of responsibility · Fluent in English. · Preferrable experience from sales and marketing area Education level Graduate degree preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations or comparable experience.
