Position Summary Magellan Aerospace has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time permanent Manufacturing Engineering Technical Team Leader at our manufacturing hub in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This position is required to efficiently manage a team of Manufacturing Engineering resources to meet departmental goals and deliverables including Technical, COPQ & Process Innovation related initiatives. The successful applicant will develop the required skills to provide direct supervision to the assigned personnel or project based cross-functional team members. Essential Responsibilities * Responsible for the distribution and management of departmental workload. * Working with Area Managers, Department Supervisors, and Program Managers to establish priorities and resolve conflicts. * Initiating, reviewing, and supporting process improvements within current processes. * Supporting Estimating and Tool Design on new projects to establish manufacturing methods. * Supporting Production and Quality for customer requirements ranging from FAI support to product release. * Responsible for all minor MRB issues. Position Requirements * A post-secondary diploma in a technical field. * A minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years experience in a manufacturing environment. * Sound working knowledge of internal MRB requirements. * CIM certificate considered an asset. * Black Belt or Green Belt certification considered an asset. * Supervisor experience considered an asset. * Strong communication, team work, and organizational skills. Requirements
