What you bring: * Class 3 Driver’s License with airbrake endorsement is preferred, or a valid Class 5 License with a clean driver’s abstract. * Experience operating radial boom derrick (RBD)/digger derrick, mini-excavator, skid-steer, and other heavy equipment. * Experience in shallow utility installation is preferred. * A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic. * Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification is preferred. * Occupational First Aid (OFA) levels I, II and/or III is preferred. * Fall protection certification is an asset. * Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions. This role involves a range of job duties, which include, but are not limited to: * Operating various equipment like RBD/digger derrick, bucket truck, crane, excavator/backhoe, skid steer, forklift, plate compactor, jumping jack, dump trailer, pickup truck/flat deck, and arrow truck (training provided). * Perform general labour tasks including hand shoveling, trenching, backfilling, installing street light and traffic signal foundations, laying cables and installing conduits, and completing landscaping and road surface cleanup. * Coordinating pick up, delivery, and handling of stock materials to designated job sites. * Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, safe, and organized. * Assist with traffic control duties when required. * Travel as needed based on project needs. * Work night shifts on occasion as required.
