Maleki Liew LLP is looking for an enthusiastic Family Law Clerk to join our growing team. This is a full-time hybrid role for a Family Law Clerk located in Toronto, Ontario. The successful candidate will work closely with our legal team and clients. Salary is competitive. Key responsibilities include: Preparing court documents, including family law financial statements and confirmation forms Serving and filing court documents (including using Case Center and OCPP) Organizing and managing disclosure documents Communicating professionally and promptly with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff Scheduling and coordinating court appearances, client meetings, and mediations Providing general administrative support to lawyers, and assisting with day-to-day office and case-related tasks as needed. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Law Clerk, Paralegal Studies, or a related field Strong understanding of the Family Law Rules and the Rules of Civil Procedure Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of discretion and professionalism Experience in family law is an asset
