Full Description Victoria Albert Daycare Inc. is currently seeking a Casual Child Care Assistant to work in our Preschool and two School Age Programs at both locations. Location 1: 110 Ellen Street (20 preschool, 45 school age) inside of Victoria Albert School Location 2: 809 Furby Street (23 school age) inside of Ecole Sacre Coeur (speaking French is an asset**) Responsibilities Include Assist educators in implementing daily programs and routines. Engage actively with children through play, exploration, and conversation. Support children in developing independence through routines such as dressing, toileting, and mealtimes. Support inclusive practices by respecting each child’s background, abilities, and family culture. Prepare and tidy materials, equipment, and activity spaces. Encourage positive social interactions and model respectful communication. Support children of all abilities by following guidance from educators on individualized approaches and inclusion strategies. Direct family questions or concerns to the appropriate educator or supervisor. Work cooperatively with team members to maintain a positive, respectful, and supportive environment. Contribute to open communication and teamwork within the centre. Seeking a casual assistant to work across two daycare locations. Ability to speak French is considered an asset for the Furby Street location.
