Job Description We are currently looking for a qualified WAREHOUSE ADMINISTRATOR for our Vision Transportation warehouse located in Mississauga. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Our Warehouse Administrator oversees the organization of inventory. This includes receiving, issuing and dispatching stock, and handling communication with warehouse customers and freight companies for outbound shipments. Warehouse Administrators are responsible for the data entry, this involves processing receipts, taking records and documenting the details of all orders. Qualifications Duties and Responsibilities Utilize WMS (warehouse management system) for all related order management and processing functions Utilize RF scanner based system Maintain all paperwork and records of each shipment, file and maintain for future reference Prepare outgoing orders, create shipping labels, BOL and related paperwork Investigate customer orders – order related queries File all inbound container related paperwork and facilitate communications with customers Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Health & Safety procedures Maintain work area in a clean and safe condition, reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor Contribute ideas willingly towards continuous improvement Work with other staff members to ensure that customer orders are picked, packed, prioritized and staged, with emphasis on accuracy Work with other staff to ensure that product identity is maintained at all times Assist with coordinating all daily warehouse functions with Warehouse Supervisor Adhere shipping labels to parcels as operation requires Ensure all orders are not duplicated Communicate with carriers to track and monitor any shipments in transit and resolve discrepancies Check receiving documents to ensure that all inbound orders are received properly Skills Teamwork! High level of attention to detail Good level of computer literacy Strong data entry skills Good multi-tasking and time management skills Customer service and communication skills.
