Manufacturing Associate

Manpower is currently recruiting 50 Manufacturing Associates on behalf of one of our manufacturing clients in Midland, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in manufacturing and production. Successful candidates will receive training and gain hands-on experience working with precision assembly processes, technical documentation, quality standards, and manufacturing equipment in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble products according to specifications and work instructions. Learn to handle precision components and assemblies. Read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation. Use calibrated tools, gauges, and measuring equipment. Follow established manufacturing processes and production workflows. Inspect parts and assemblies for quality and visual defects. Complete basic computer and data entry tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all workplace safety and quality standards. Contribute positively to a collaborative team culture. Qualifications Required Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to understand technical information and make sound decisions. Comfortable working with metric measurements. Strong attention to detail. Preferred Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or industrial experience. Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Flexibility to work day or afternoon shifts. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Experience working within safety and quality-focused environments. To be considered, candidates must: Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada. Have resided in Canada for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years. Be eligible to obtain the required security clearance. Meet all requirements of the Controlled Goods Program and Contract Security Program. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon successful completion of all required security screenings and background checks. Manufacturing Associates will assemble products according to specifications and learn to handle precision components. They will also inspect parts for quality and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Candidates must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent and strong communication skills. Previous manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude are preferred.
