Job summary
Mississauga, ON, Canada $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 Annually This position will report to the General Manager, and will be responsible for our financial reporting in our Canadian Operations. This position will work closely with all our teams in Canada and the Finance team and CFO in our USA Operations to ensure the highest level of service and quality to our customers. What You’ll Do Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with standardized accounting principles Collaborating closely with finance team members onsite and abroad to ensure our books are clean and reportable to the leadership team. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accrual adjustments. Assist in audits, providing documentation and responding to inquiries as needed. Work with leadership and sales teams to review expenditures and rebate programs Work with plant leadership to develop and manage annual operating budgets and capital expenditure plans Calculate and submit Tax calculations and payments Other duties as required Qualifications A successful candidate will be a strong, motivated, self-starter with background and experience in finance/accounting roles, excellent skills in Financial Analysis and advanced skills with Excel. As Well As Detail oriented Good communication skills for interdepartmental problem solving Advanced skills in Excel (eg Macros, pivot tables) Experience in SAP would be extremely beneficial Post Secondary Education in Finance or Accounting CPA or CFA designation is preferred Apply to this Job
