We are looking for an individual to join our team as an industrial painter. Summary Sperling Industries Ltd is looking to fill the position of Industrial Painter. This position is a permanent, full-time job based out of our paint shop in Sperling Manitoba. Primary Responsibilities Follow instructions from paint shop supervisor Read and understand all job hazard assessments as well as follow all applicable safety procedures and practices Use spray application methods to apply enamel and polyurethane paints Sand blasting Operating forklifts and other motorized equipment Perform general shop duties as required Maintain and trouble shoot equipment related to the paint shop Must work well with co-workers Education, Experience, Skills Must be able to read, write and speak English Must be hard working, reliable, punctual and safety conscious Have the ability to work independently as well as with others Must demonstrate an understanding of quality control practices including measuring surface profiles, adhesion, coating thickness, and ambient environmental conditions. Compensation Starting salary $22-$25 plus an hour depending on qualifications and experience.
