Job summary

Maple Reinders is currently looking to add an Assistant Superintendent for the Duffin Creek WPCP project in Pickering, Ontario. As an Assistant Superintendent you will assist the Superintendent in site management for all phases on our construction projects including coordinating site staff, materials and equipment. At Maple, we look for leaders who can: Assist in coordinating, controlling and directing the work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project Understand contracts and scope of work to ensure the scope of work is clearly communicated to trades Assist in developing and executing project work plans aimed at keeping projects on track and on budget Our Assistant Superintendent will assist in overseeing the projects that vary in size and scope and the successful candidate should have previous experience in providing direction to construction teams, trades and hourly employees. Many of our projects are located within Ontario; however, work can sometimes take us to other parts of the province and beyond. We would require the Assistant Superintendent to travel or stay close to the site; flexibility is a must. We are also focused on candidates who currently have: 6 months to 1 year of experience assisting the supervision Civil, industrial, environmental or ICI construction projects with a General Contractor Post-secondary education, CET or equivalent Proficiency with MS Office and Windows based computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and Project) Willingness to travel as required. Requirements

Candidates should have 6 months to 1 year of experience in construction supervision and a post-secondary education, preferably a CET or equivalent. Proficiency in MS Office applications and a willingness to travel are also required.
