Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Contract) Maple Reinders Group is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in Mississauga, Ontario. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays an important role in supporting the full-cycle recruitment process across the organization. Working closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team, this position helps attract, engage, and onboard top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience and efficient hiring process. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR or recruitment professional looking to grow their talent acquisition expertise within a leading Canadian construction company. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Support Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and recruitment team members. Manage job postings across job boards, social media platforms, and the company careers page. Review applications and assist with candidate screening and resume shortlisting activities. Manage internal employee referral program tracking. Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (Workable). Conduct reference checks and coordinate pre-employment screening requirements. Prepare offer letters and support the onboarding process for successful candidates. Assist with the creation and updating of job descriptions. Track candidate pipelines and provide recruitment updates to hiring managers and internal stakeholders. Assist with campus recruitment initiatives, career fairs, and industry networking events. Support employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts to attract top talent. Monitor recruitment metrics and assist with reporting on hiring activity and key performance indicators. Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, workflows, and candidate engagement strategies. Support workforce other talent acquisition projects as required. Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, HR coordination, or a related field. Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment activities is considered an asset. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), workable would be an asset. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service-oriented approach. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other Windows-based software. Experience recruiting within the construction, engineering, or professional services industries is considered an asset. Drivers license and access to a vehicle for travel top job fairs.
