Position: Automotive Aftermarket Category Manager – Electronic Components Activities and responsibilities, among others: Manages all plans, projects, and programs for the automotive electronic components category. Researches product design and applications for development and comparison with OEM/OES and aftermarket competitors, and ensures quality standards with suppliers and customers; also identifies technical improvements to current products. Conducts market analysis and price comparisons against competitors, identifying opportunities for exchange with OEM/OES and aftermarket competitors. Works as part of a cross-functional team, including customer service, development, and engineering of other product lines. Develops packaging materials and strategies for the assigned product line, as well as marketing and advertising strategies. Works in accordance with ACES and PIES standards for the development and maintenance of the product catalog. Attends business support events such as trade shows and customer evening sales (when applicable). Work Location: The geographic base for this position is the city of Monterrey, with availability to travel to other parts of Mexico and abroad as required by the work schedule and the inherent responsibilities of the position (a valid passport and U.S. visa must be available at all times). Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
