Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Generator Technician to join a large operation in the Georgetown/Milton, ON region. Candidates looking for internal advancement opportunities, training, and a position to work on multiple ranges of equipment/industries will be successful. Generator Technicians will be responsible for maintenance and repairs to Cummins Power Units, High-Voltage troubleshooting, and brands from Kubota, Perkins and John Deere. Automotive/Electrician qualifications needed, with ability to read electrical schematics, knowledge of Diesel Engines, part and component replacements. Candidates will be subject to criminal background checks, and security clearance. Compensation: - $70,000 - $80,000/year. - Comprehensive Benefits (Dental, Vision, Life Insurance) - RRSP Matching. - Tool Program, and Continuing Education. - 3-Weeks PTO year one. Schedule/Shift: - 8:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Thursday) - 8:00am - 1:00pm (Friday) - OT available Requirements: - Valid Passport, Citizenship (defense-sector contracts), Ontario G Class Driver's License - Own Basic Tools - College Diploma: relevant Trade program, Electrical Engineering - Ability to travel on short notice - Can work independently on schematics, diagrams, electro-mechanical repairs
