Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Warehouse Lead for our Markham, ON location. This hands-on role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring audiovisual (AV) equipment is accurately received, organized, maintained, and prepared for upcoming installations and service projects. Key Responsibilities: Receiving & Shipping: Manage incoming shipments, inspect goods, and organize products by project. Load and unload delivery vehicles as needed. Prepare orders for shipment and ensure all products are picked and packed accurately. Inventory Organization: Help organize pallets by specific client jobs and maintain order accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Prepare inventory for upcoming projects and jobs (picking). Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently. Assist with moving and staging products as necessary. General Warehouse Duties: Assist with maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization, including managing staging areas and miscellaneous storage, recycling, reusing packing materials, and keeping aisles and exits clear. Safety & Compliance: Follow safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Adhere to safety protocols and perform basic first aid when necessary. Communication & Technology Use: Use laptops and Microsoft 365 for email communication and basic documentation, as well as handling phone calls. Adhere to manual inventory procedures and maintain shipment records. Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure accurate processing and prevent the loss of paperwork. Qualifications: Previous warehouse, shipping & receiving experience is considered an asset. Knowledge of AV technology is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently, with minimal supervision in a busy environment. Proficient English verbal and written communication skills. Great organizational and time management skills. Comfortable using basic computer systems, including Microsoft 365. Willingness to learn and follow warehouse procedures in a project-based environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team in a safe manner while following safe job procedures and precautions. Must be able to lift and move products and perform physical tasks throughout the day. Basic first aid knowledge (training can be provided, if needed). Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners (training can be provided, if needed). Working Conditions: Physical requirements such as standing for long periods of time, lifting products (up to 50 pounds), working in awkward positions (twisting, bending, etc.) and pushing and pulling objects in general. Working in a warehouse environment which includes being exposed to outdoor elements when bay doors are open. Disclosures: Compensation Range: The expected salary for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 per year.
