*Matteo's Ristorante* We are looking for a skilled, *passionate, enthusiastic* *Sous Chef *to complete our team. *Matteo's is a small 32 seat, fast paced restaurant opened Tuesday-Saturday. * _*Are you someone who:*_ _-has a familiarity with Italian cuisine is preferred._ _-has the ability to run point efficiently under pressure_ _-can properly maintain a clean work station _ *Food handlers certificate required.* *Qualifications* *Must have previous 2-3 years? experience in this field.* * Multitasking Skills * Degree or Diploma in Culinary * Prepares food for the restaurant, events and is a team leader for those under them * Works under the direction of the owner and strong leadership when working with others * Maintains a high level of cleanliness and demonstrates by example when using proper handling of food techniques * Provides a healthy and positive work environment * Working effectively while putting food up simultaneously in timing accordance Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year Benefits: * Relocation assistance Flexible language requirement: * French not required Ability to commute/relocate: * Welland, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Education: * Secondary School (required) Experience: * cooking: 2 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Food Handler or equivalent (required) Work Location: In person
