Job summary
Administrative Assistant – Acheson Based Date: August 18th, 2026 Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – Part Time – 25 hours per week Source of Supervision: Sales Manager Primary Function: To provide administrative and operational support to the on-site manufacturing and sales team. · Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails professionally. · Prepare quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents. · Coordinate with customers, suppliers, trucking companies, and warehouse staff. · Maintain customer files and company records. · Perform data entry and ensure accurate record keeping. · Assist with inventory and order tracking. · Schedule appointments and coordinate office activities. · Support accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, as required. · Assist management with reports and other administrative tasks. · Maintain office supplies and general office organization Skills: Previous administrative or office experience (experience in the lumber, building materials, manufacturing, or distribution industry is considered an asset). Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Experience with accounting or ERP software is an asset. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently. Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Working Conditions: · Exposure dust. · Busy, high-volume environment. Ability to work flexible hours when overtime is occasionally required.

Requirements
