We are looking for an experienced BIM / CAD Coordinator to join our clients team supporting the delivery of major tunnelling and infrastructure projects in Canada. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical drawing and modelling skills who understands the demands of working within complex civil engineering and underground construction environments. The Role As a BIM / CAD Coordinator, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining accurate 2D drawings and 3D models across a range of tunnelling and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with engineers, designers, project managers and site teams to ensure that design information is accurate, coordinated and delivered to the required standards and programme. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed 2D CAD drawings and 3D BIM models for tunnelling and infrastructure projects. Develop and maintain drawings, models, layouts, sections, details and construction documentation. Interpret engineering designs, specifications and survey information. Work with engineers and project teams to resolve technical and design issues. Coordinate information between disciplines and identify potential clashes or inconsistencies. Update drawings and models in line with design changes and site requirements. Ensure drawings and models comply with relevant project standards and BIM/CAD procedures. Assist with the preparation of construction and as-built documentation. Maintain accurate drawing registers, revisions and document control. Liaise with site teams and other stakeholders to ensure information is practical and buildable. About You We are looking for someone with: Proven experience in a CAD/BIM role within civil engineering, tunnelling or infrastructure. Strong experience with AutoCAD and/or relevant BIM software. Experience producing drawings and models for complex engineering or construction projects. An understanding of tunnelling, underground structures, civils or major infrastructure. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical information. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to drawing production. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. The ability to manage competing priorities and work to project deadlines. Desirable Experience Experience With Any Of The Following Would Be Advantageous Revit Civil 3D Navisworks MicroStation / OpenRoads Bentley software BIM coordination and clash detection Tunnelling, shafts, underground structures or temporary works Rail, highways, utilities, water or other major infrastructure projects Construction/site experience

Requirements

Candidates should have proven CAD/BIM experience in civil engineering, tunnelling, or infrastructure, strong AutoCAD and/or BIM software skills, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical information. Attention to detail, effective multidisciplinary communication, and the ability to manage deadlines are required; experience with listed BIM tools and major infrastructure or site projects is advantageous.
