The Opportunity: McKay Metis Contracting is seeking an experienced Operator for Snow Removal! This is a camp position working with one of our growing Oil Sand client contracts. The shift for this position is a 14 days on, 7 days off rotation working 10 hour days. The Role: Under general supervision, the operator will safely operate equipment to perform snow removal around Civeo camps in the oilsands region. This is an advanced position which involves considerable knowledge. The Operator position reports directly to the Superintendent and/or other designate Responsibilities: * Operate skid steers, loaders, and other mobile equipment for snow removal. * Safely clear snow from roads, parking areas, entrances, laydown areas, and access routes. * Operate equipment with snow buckets, blades, pushers, or other attachments. * Load, push, pile, and relocate snow as required. * Apply or assist with the application of sand, salt, and other de-icing materials. * Conduct pre-operational inspections and report equipment deficiencies. * Maintain awareness of pedestrians, vehicles, structures, and other equipment while operating. * Follow all site-specific safety procedures, traffic controls, and winter maintenance requirements. * Perform general labour duties related to snow removal when required. What we need from you: * Experience operating loaders, and skid-steers with snow removal attachments (snowblades, sanders, oversized snow buckets) * Minimum Class (5) Driver's License required * Clean 5-year Drivers Abstract. * First Aid Certification - Level C * Ability to remain safety-focused and all follow safe work practices. * Previous understanding and experience within a snow removal environment is an asset. * Able to work in all weather and working site conditions. * Ability to access all client sites as required. * Successfully complete all pre-employment drug, alcohol, and physical abilities testing. Schedule: * 14 days on, 7 days off rotation working 10-hour days. Camp accommodations provided. No transportation to site provided. Requirements

Candidates must have experience operating loaders and skid-steers with snow removal attachments and hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License. A clean 5-year driver's abstract and Level C First Aid certification are also required.
