Job details

Company Description MEDFAR Clinical Solutions was founded in 2010 by two aeronautical engineers who realized that the healthcare system was not exploiting the full potential of technology. Supported by a large community of medical experts and focused on clinical success and patient safety, MEDFAR was the first company to certify a cloud-based Electronic Medical Record in Canada: MYLE (Make Your Life Easy). Committed to promoting excellence and effectiveness in healthcare worldwide, MEDFAR differentiates itself by offering a unique healthcare management solution for clinics, which replaces inefficient processes with a faster and safer technological alternative. Job Description At MEDFAR, we are shaping the future of digital healthcare. As a Senior Product Owner, you will play a key role in defining and executing our product vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that improve patient care and streamline clinical workflows. You will lead strategic initiatives, mentor junior team members, and drive impactful decision-making at the leadership level. Responsibilities Own the solution strategy for your product domains, translating the vision and roadmap set by Product Management into how each domain delivers on them, informed by market analysis, competitive intelligence, and user research. Own the user experience of your product domains as a whole, not only what ships: end-to-end workflows, consistency across features, and known experience gaps. Product Designers support you on the UI and interactions; you remain accountable for the experience delivered. Lead user research initiatives, translating complex user needs into clear and actionable product requirements. Own and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the development team and Product Management, balancing technical, business, and user needs with data-driven decisions to align with strategic goals. Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to execute successful product releases, managing timelines, risks, and resource allocation. Mentor and coach junior and intermediate product owners, fostering professional growth and promoting best practices. Drive strategic R&D initiatives across multiple development teams and projects. Guide development teams by answering questions, defining priorities, identifying opportunities for incremental delivery, and removing roadblocks. Represent the product team in leadership-level discussions, influencing strategic decisions and providing progress updates. Facilitate collaboration across teams through proactive communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management. Working Conditions: Permanent full-time position (40 hours per week). Flexible hybrid or remote work arrangement. Occasional in-office presence may be required during the year. Candidates must reside in the province of Quebec. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, design, product marketing, management, UX, product analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years of experience in product development, with a proven track record of launching and managing successful products. Deep expertise in Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles. Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities. Deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape, enabling informed product decisions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma) and software management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Experience in building large-scale product solutions with third-party system integrations. Ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and align teams to drive impactful product outcomes. Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs), clinical workflows, and patient engagement tools. Additional Information By joining MEDFAR, you will be part of a purpose-driven organization whose product is disrupting and digitizing health care, making doctors’ and healthcare workers’ lives easier, while enabling better patient health outcomes.
