<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><b><strong> Position Details:</strong></b></p><p>&bull; Permanent, Full-Time</p><p>&bull; Hourly</p><p>&bull; On-Site</p><p>&bull; Training Period: Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.</p><p>&bull; Actual Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.</p><p> </p><p><b><strong>Location: </strong></b>Cornwall Road, Oakville, Canada</p><p><b><strong>Summary:</strong></b></p><p>As an <b><strong>Electronics Assembler</strong></b>, the successful incumbent will have electronics manufacturing experience with both surface mount and through hole component technologies. </p><p>You specialize in <span class="long-word">troubleshoot/debug,</span> rework, repair and building of various assemblies at various levels of completion with good hand, eye coordination with these technologies. </p><p>You will have good re-work experience and excellent soldering skills to perform RMA repair jobs. Excellent understanding of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards, IPC-A-610 certification preferred but not required for this position.</p><p><b><strong> </strong></b></p><p><b><strong>The primary responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:</strong></b></p><p> </p><p>&bull; Solder and manually assemble various electronic components such as resistors, diodes, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, switches, wires and other electronic parts to designated locations on printed circuit boards.</p><p>&bull; Assemble microcircuits requiring fine hand assembly, the use of microscopes and adherence to cleanroom procedures.</p><p>&bull; Install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts, components, wiring and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies using hand and small power tools.</p><p>&bull; Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position, solder and clean prescribed components on printed circuit boards.</p><p>&bull; Operate and monitor process equipment including automatic and semi-automatic machines to fabricate electronic components, solder, clean, seal and stamp components and perform other process operations as specified.</p><p>&bull; Set up process equipment and adhere to cleanroom procedures as required.</p><p>&bull; May replace defective components and repair and overhaul older devices.</p><p>&bull; Conduct quality control for all MRI RMA products to meet commercial standards and customer satisfaction.</p><p>&bull; Test all MRI RMA products, to validate the failures.</p><p>&bull; Performs inspection, using magnifying devices to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.</p><p>&bull; Repair, assemble and test electronic products (LED display modules)</p><p>&bull; Touch-up, soldering, desoldering, cleaning of surface mount and through hole components, pads, manual potting application etc. as per IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.</p><p>&bull; Keep immediate and nearby work areas and equipment in safe, clean, and orderly condition.</p><p>&bull; Report any unsafe or abnormal conditions or opportunities for continual improvement to direct Supervisor.</p><p>&bull; Work collaboratively with other team members and leadership.</p><p>&bull; Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.</p><p><b><strong> </strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Requirements / Qualifications: </strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Academic Training:</strong></b></p><p> </p><p>&bull; Vocational school certificate or college degree required.</p><p><b><strong> </strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Work Experience:</strong></b> </p><p>&bull; Experience in troubleshoot, rework of electronic PCBAs,</p><p>&bull; Experience working in a manufacturing environment an asset.</p><p>&bull; Good knowledge on PC, system, server repair and troubleshooting.</p><p> </p><p><b><strong>Specific
