In this on-site role in Oakville, you will build responsive frontend interfaces, maintain backend architectures, integrate APIs, and thrive in a continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environment.</p><p> </p><p><strong><strong>The primary responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:</strong></strong></p><p> </p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>End-to-End Development: </strong></strong>Build, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications from architectural design through production release.</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>API Design & Integration: </strong></strong>Design, implement, and integrate robust RESTful APIs and modern RPC protocols (gRPC) for seamless communication.</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>Code Quality & Standards: </strong></strong>Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to OOP and functional design best practices.</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>Performance & Optimization: </strong></strong>Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for high responsiveness, low latency, scalability, and security.</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>Testing & Automated CI/CD: </strong></strong>Participate in peer code reviews, write unit tests, and expand automated testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines.</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>Cross-Functional Alignment: </strong></strong>Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, hardware teams, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions.</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>Documentation & Modernization: </strong></strong>Maintain clear technical documentation and evaluate emerging technologies to continuously upgrade core systems.</p><p> </p><p><strong><strong>Requirements / Qualifications:</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>Academic Training:</strong></strong></p><p> </p><p>&bull; Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with a strong programming component (or equivalent practical experience).</p><p> </p><p><strong><strong>Work & Technical Experience:</strong></strong></p><p>&bull; 5+ years of full-time commercial software development experience, including hands-on full-stack (front-end and back-end) work.</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>Front-End Stack: </strong></strong>Angular, React, HTML5, SCSS/CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery.</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>Back-End Stack: </strong></strong>Django (Python), Node.js, Go.</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>Databases: </strong></strong>PostgreSQL relational database design, query optimization, and management.</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>APIs & Messaging: </strong></strong>RESTful API design & integration, gRPC protocols.</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>Cloud & Infrastructure: </strong></strong>AWS services, Docker containerization, Git (Kubernetes is a plus).</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>DevOps & Environments: </strong></strong>Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, unit/automated testing.</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>Systems & OS: </strong></strong>Hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux operating environments.</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>AI Developer Tools: </strong></strong>Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, VS Code, Cursor).</p><p>&bull; <strong><strong>Core Competencies: </strong></strong>Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), functional design, and eagerne
