Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based in Halifax, NS. The Physiotherapist will assess clients’ physical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation to reduce pain and restore function. Daily responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, documenting treatment notes, monitoring progress, and adjusting plans as needed. The role involves educating clients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and wellness practices, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes. The Physiotherapist will also contribute to clinic initiatives that enhance the client experience and support growth of rehabilitation and wellness services. Qualifications Proven ability to perform thorough physical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions. Skills in client education, including explaining diagnoses, treatment options, home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention and long-term wellness. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport, working in a multidisciplinary team, and providing inclusive, respectful care to diverse clients. Solid organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining accurate clinical records, tracking progress, and managing a full caseload efficiently. Commitment to professional development, staying current with research and best practices in musculoskeletal, sports, and orthopedic physiotherapy. Completion of an accredited Physiotherapy degree program and eligibility for licensure/registration as a Physiotherapist in Nova Scotia. CPR/First Aid certification and familiarity with clinic health and safety procedures. Experience in private practice, sports rehabilitation, or active population care is an asset.
