*Overview* We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently across various routes. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, uphold safety standards, and maintain excellent customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in our supply chain operations, contributing to the seamless movement of goods and supporting our company?s growth. *Duties* * Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations * Transport freight between distribution centers, warehouses, and customer locations with precision and professionalism * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security * Use forklift and heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading cargo efficiently * Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies * Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting vehicle issues to ensure optimal operation * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly *Requirements* * Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver?s License (CDL) with a clean driving record * Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related roles * Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other loading machinery * Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle concerns on the road * Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads and performing vehicle inspections * Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards within transportation industry * Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and customer service Join us as a Class 1 Driver and become an essential part of our logistics team!
