As a Construction Site Superintendent within the buildings general contracting industry, you will oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure quality standards and safety protocols are met. The company is headquartered in Edmonton, and project travel across Alberta and BC will be regularly required based on their geographic focus. Client Details Our client is an established general contracting company operating in the ICI buildings construction industry and based in Edmonton, with a primary project focus across Alberta and British Columbia. The organization has an excellent culture and offers a competitive remuneration package. Based on current growth and project acquisition, they are looking to attract multiple experienced Construction Site Superintendents to the business to oversee projects across Alberta and BC. Description Supervise and manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling and resource allocation. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and execution of work. Monitor on-site safety and enforce compliance with safety protocols and regulations. Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications. Conduct regular site meetings to address project progress and resolve any issues. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports. Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment with project timelines and budgets. Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and providing updates. Profile A successful Construction Site Superintendent should have: Proven experience in ICI GC/CM new build projects. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
