We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Director, Business Development & Growth to lead expansion efforts across Western Canada. Based in Calgary, this role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, responsible for driving net-new revenue growth while building, coaching, and leading a high-performing Business Development Representative (BDR) team. Description Business Development & Revenue Growth Drive net-new account acquisition across Western Canada, focusing on targeted industries and strategic accounts Personally engage in high-value prospecting, pipeline development, and deal execution Build and maintain a strong pipeline aligned with aggressive growth targets Expand the organization's footprint by identifying and capturing new market opportunities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute a regional growth strategy aligned with corporate objectives Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine go-to-market approaches Partner with senior leadership to enhance positioning and growth initiatives Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and scale a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) Establish clear performance metrics, KPIs, and accountability standards Foster a high-performance culture focused on results, collaboration, and continuous improvement Mentor and develop talent to build a strong leadership pipeline Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Client Success teams to ensure seamless customer journeys Align with Marketing on demand generation strategies and regional campaigns Provide market feedback to inform product and solution innovation Operational Excellence Optimize sales processes, tools, and reporting to improve effectiveness and visibility Track pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and team productivity Ensure disciplined use of CRM systems and sales methodologies MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation. Profile 8-12+ years of experience in business development, sales, or growth leadership Proven success in net-new business acquisition and revenue growth Experience leading and developing BDR or inside sales teams Strong ability to balance strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of the Western Canada market is strongly preferred Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Data-driven with experience in CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) Bachelor's degree required; MBA considered an asset Job Offer Competitive base salary range of $160-$180k + bonus.
