Description: The Office Manager provides administrative and operational support to the office and leadership team to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the office. This role is responsible for coordinating office administration activities, supporting communication between departments and project teams, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The Office Manager plays a key role in keeping office operations organized, responsive, and aligned with Michels Canada standards, while supporting a professional and well-coordinated work environment. Responsibilities: Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Provide direct administrative and operational support to the Director, ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations and effective coordination of priorities. Oversee general office administration, including correspondence, filing systems, document control, time submissions and records management. Coordinate office schedules, meetings, agendas, and travel arrangements for leadership and project teams. Serve as the central point of contact for internal office communications, ensuring timely flow of information between departments, field teams, and leadership. Support financial administration activities including expense tracking and time submissions. Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships to ensure uninterrupted office operations. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for leadership and project meetings. Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including workspace setup, system access, and orientation support. Ensure the office environment remains organized, professional, and aligned with Michels Canada standards. Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to support office needs and resolve issues as they arise. Identify opportunities to improve office processes and efficiency, and support implementation of administrative best practices. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or leadership team. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required 5+ years of office administration or related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Post-secondary education in Office Administration or a related field is considered an asset. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
