Job Description Midland Transport is currently seeking a Night Linehaul Truck Driver based in Bathurst, NB Terminal. The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic and great and positive attitude with a commitment to providing a Superior Quality service. Main Role: The driver will be based in Bathurst, NB, and will primarily complete overnight linehaul runs throughout the Maritimes, traveling from terminal to terminal. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused driver with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills. Schedule: Thursday – Sunday (19:00 – 7:00) What We Offer: Milage rate – 0.566/mile. Responsibilities Perform linehaul runs between Midland terminals throughout the Maritime provinces. Communicate effectively with dispatch and maintain accurate daily pickup, delivery, and trip documentation. Provide professional, reliable, and customer-focused service at all times. Operate company equipment in compliance with company policies, safety procedures, transportation regulations, and traffic laws. Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, and monitor all aspects of vehicle operation to ensure safety, compliance, and equipment performance. Promptly report any incidents, accidents, injuries, equipment defects, or damage in accordance with company procedures. Qualifications Class 1 driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required. Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search. Familiarity with satellite systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing workloads. Positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a commitment to providing superior quality service. Safety-conscious, with a strong commitment to safe driving practices and regulatory compliance.
