Role Description The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Mindful Mental Health will design, implement, and oversee individualized ABA treatment plans for children and youth, with a focus on behavior management, skill acquisition, and family-centered care. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting functional behavior assessments, analyzing data, supervising and training behavior therapists, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated clinical support. The BCBA will provide parent and caregiver education, lead treatment planning meetings, monitor client progress, and adjust interventions based on ongoing assessment and outcomes. This is a part-time, on-site role located in Whitby, ON, requiring direct client interaction, continuous coordination with caregivers and staff, and adherence to ethical and professional standards in behavior analysis. Qualifications Strong foundation in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis, with demonstrated ability to design and evaluate evidence-based behavior support plans. Skills in Behavior Management and Parent Education, including coaching caregivers on strategies for supporting skill development and reducing challenging behaviors. Background in Psychology or related mental health fields, with understanding of child development, neurodivergence, and co-occurring emotional or behavioral concerns. Current BCBA certification and eligibility to practice in Ontario; master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related discipline. Experience providing ABA services in clinical, school, or community settings, preferably with children, youth, and families. Strong observational, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills, including proficiency with behavioral data collection and analysis tools. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with a commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practice. Ability to work on-site in Whitby, ON, manage a caseload, supervise staff, and maintain accurate clinical documentation while adhering to professional and ethical guidelines.
