Job summary
Our team is expanding and looking to hire a Welding Technologist. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector. The Welding Technologist position is responsible for planning and evaluating welding processes for production lines. Other responsibilities include: * Verifying welding processes, calculating, and updating standard parameters; * Implementing and reviewing welding processes to ensure accuracy and rationality; * Resolving technical issues, improving processes during product welding to enhance efficiency and reduce costs; * Managing on-site welding automation and robot application projects, including path programming; * Solving and verifying on-site issues; conducting personnel skill training and improvement, and organizing technical documentation. To be a qualified candidate, you must meet the following: * College diploma or higher, with over 3 years of experience in welding, automation, and process planning in the automotive industry; * Proficiency in mechanical drafting, various welding process flows, mechanical automation, and robot programming; * Familiarity with the practical operation and maintenance of laser welding/MIG welding/stud welding/friction stir welding lines and equipment * Skilled in using UG10.0, MasterCAM, CAD, and other software; * Proficiency in applying the seven QC tools for problem-solving and process control, familiar with IE improvement techniques and 8D methodology; * Familiarity with IATF16949 requirements; Key to being successful in this role: * Proficient in mechanical drafting and basic knowledge of mechanical design, understanding of machining processes, assembly processes, and product quality characteristics. * Understanding of domestic and international technology development directions, basic electrical knowledge, and basic welding knowledge. * Good communication skills, problem analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
