This opportunity is a for an 8-month term beginning November 2026 until July 2027. Responsibilities * Assist in designing and implementing robust extract, transform, and load (ETL) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes * Partner with cross-functional teams, including architects, data analysts and business users to create high-quality solutions * Support data modelling initiatives to ensure data quality and accessibility * Maintain and ensure data quality, integrity, security and consistency across multiple data sources and platforms * Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database, pipeline and integrations issues where and when needed * Monitor platform performance and optimize costs to ensure efficiency and scalability * Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences and contribute to process improvements * Manage tasks independently while thriving in a collaborative environment and provide support to team members when needed * Develop a comprehensive understanding of MNP’s services, business models, and industry context to align data solutions effectively Skills and Experience * 4+ years in Data Engineering, ETL development, or Business Intelligence development roles * Strong expertise in working with both structured and semi-structured data formats * Proficient in Python (PySpark) for data engineering and data transformation tasks * Practical experience working with any notebook-based data engineering environment, such as Microsoft Fabric notebooks, Azure Synapse Analytics notebooks, Jupyter Notebooks, or other widely used enterprise or cloud-based data notebooks * Strong demonstrated knowledge of SQL and database architecture patterns, including data warehousing, non-relational databases and medallion architecture concepts * Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders * Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality solutions * Experience in the accounting and professional services industry is an asset MyRewards@MNP With a focus on high-potential earnings, MNP is proud to offer customized rewards that support our unique culture and a balanced lifestyle to thrive at work and outside of the office.
