Responsibilities * Maintain project schedules to complete updates of Partner related records * Set up, maintain, and make updates to Partner information in applicable Finance systems * Set up, maintain, and make updates to Partner buyout/pension accounting systems * Directly support our EFT payments and T5013 processes * Prepare monthly journal entries and general account reviews * Provide coding, reconciliation, and communication of Partner capital accounts and draws * Develop internal relationships to understand and be aware of factors that affect Partner related records * Liaise and work closely with Human Capital, Legal, IT, Executive Administration, and our Firm Tax teams on Partner changes * Assist in budgeting and creating opening balance sheets for mergers and conducting anniversary post-merger reviews and reconciliations * Perform ad-hoc reporting and special projects as required Skills and Experience * 5+ years of relevant experience in a payroll or accounting role * Thorough understanding of accounting concepts * Critical thinking skills, with the ability to see the broader impacts on financial accounting and tax * Ability to use knowledge and experience to recommend a course of action * Proficient with Microsoft Excel, and experienced in working with various accounting systems * Experience applying AI to streamline processes (Power automate, Office scripts, Copilot) * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion * Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to manage internal and external relationships * Written and verbal English language skills, with French considered an asset * Any of the following would also be considered an asset: * A professional designation * Experience working in a Professional Services environment MyRewards@MNP With a focus on high-potential earnings, MNP is proud to offer customized rewards that support our unique culture and a balanced lifestyle to thrive at work and outside of the office.
