Position Description Position Description: The Project Manager – Field Service will oversee the installation and commissioning of our units at customer sites. This role is responsible for managing site activities and coordinating with third-party contractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, field experience, and the ability to drive results in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Administer the commissioning and start up processes and procedures, including: Develop or modify existing processes and procedures Compile submittals as per contract closeout Support warranty claims during and after installation of units Coordinate and/or provide commissioning input related to warranty claims and defects detected during the commissioning process. Collaborate with the QA and manufacturing teams to optimize efficiencies and processes. Compile and validate commissioning scopes of work to efficiently manage subcontracted resource plans, including off-site commissioning strategies. Attend factory witness tests. Required Qualifications Required Education & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in either HVAC manufacturing or service. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC equipment and service Proven experience in project management by collaborating with contractors and coordinating across diverse stakeholders to ensure successful execution. Superior organization, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and understand HVAC submittal packages, electrical drawings and subcomponent IOM material. Strong working knowledge of MS suite. Education Requirements Technical degree or journeyman certification is preferred. Modine is an equal opportunity employer.
