The ideal candidate brings patience, warmth, and intentionality to the classroom, using careful observation to support each child’s individual development. This educator is dedicated to nurturing independence, concentration, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in every child. Responsibilities Include -Prepare and maintain a beautiful, organized, and developmentally appropriate Montessori environment. -Observe, assess, and document children’s development and progress. -Plan and present Montessori lessons across Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural Studies. -Support children’s independence, concentration, confidence, and self-regulation. -Foster respectful relationships through grace, courtesy, kindness, and positive guidance. -Adapt lessons and materials to support diverse learning needs and abilities. -Communicate professionally and consistently with families and colleagues. -Support children with toileting and self-care while maintaining dignity and respect. -Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and Montessori materials. -Follow school policies, Montessori principles, and licensing requirements. -Participate in parent events, school programs, professional development, and ongoing training. -Model professionalism and Montessori values at all times.
