Role Description This full-time, on-site Mortgage Agent role is based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Mortgage Agent will work directly with clients to assess their financing needs, provide mortgage options, and guide them through the application, approval, and closing processes. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and building client relationships, gathering and analyzing financial information, submitting applications to lenders, and following up to ensure timely approvals. The role also involves staying current on mortgage products, interest rates, and regulatory requirements, as well as collaborating with internal teams to leverage marketing tools and campaigns. The Mortgage Agent is expected to maintain high standards of client service, integrity, and professionalism while growing a sustainable book of business. Qualifications Strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and Mortgages, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to clients. Experience in Mortgage Lending and Mortgage Servicing, including end-to-end application and funding processes. Skills in Mortgage Marketing, with a focus on prospecting, client acquisition, and relationship management. Relevant provincial licensing or eligibility to be licensed as a Mortgage Agent in Ontario. Proven sales aptitude, negotiation skills, and client-focused mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong attention to detail and organization. Ability to work on-site, manage a varied workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in financial services, banking, or real estate is an asset.
