Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Junior Recruiter to join our Toronto team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch a career in technical recruitment with full training, structured development, and support from an established, industry-leading team. The Role As a Junior Recruiter specializing in Engineering within the Rail & Infrastructure sector, you will play a key role in identifying and engaging top engineering talent. You will work closely with senior consultants and hiring managers to support recruitment campaigns across roles such as: Electrical Engineers Project Managers Software Engineers Project Engineers Procurement Systems Engineer You will gain hands-on exposure to recruitment strategy, candidate management, and client engagement within a highly technical and fast-moving industry. Key Responsibilities Source and identify engineering professionals using job boards, LinkedIn, and internal databases Screen and interview candidates to assess technical skills and cultural fit Build and maintain strong talent pipelines within the Rail & Infrastructure sector Support senior recruiters with job briefings and candidate shortlists Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications Maintain accurate records within the company CRM/ATS Develop market knowledge of engineering disciplines and infrastructure projects Contribute to team targets and business development initiatives What We’re Looking For Essential Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (required) Strong interest in recruitment, engineering, or the rail sector Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Proactive, driven, and eager to learn Ability to work in a hybrid Toronto-based environment Desirable (but not essential): Internship or placement experience in recruitment, sales, HR, or engineering Understanding of rail, construction, and/or infrastructure markets What We Offer Full training and structured onboarding programme Ongoing mentorship from an established, industry-leading recruitment team Clear career progression pathway (Recruiter → Consultant → Senior Consultant) Competitive base salary + performance-based commission Hybrid working model (Toronto office) Supportive, high-performance team environment Exposure to major infrastructure and energy projects Career Development This role is designed as a launchpad into specialist technical recruitment.
